Tukusanyukidde! Welcome!
I am a senior Environmental Sciences and Anthropology double major with a minor in Science, Technology and Values at the University of Notre Dame. I have always been interested in the world around me--and eager to see as much of it as possible. I have been fortunate enough to travel with my family, spend a summer term studying in Dublin and intern in Uganda. The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, based at the University of Notre Dame, offers funding for students interested in accepting summer internships abroad. Thanks to the Kellogg Institute's generosity, I had the opportunity to spend 9 weeks in Masaka, Uganda, interning with the Foundation for Sustainable Development. My experience in Uganda affirmed my desire to work in sustainable agriculture in developing countries. After graduation, I would like to explore the world, further my education in graduate school and pursue a career in sustainable agriculture, hopefully in the developing world.
